On June 29, on the Solemnity of the Apostles St. Peter and St. Paul, in the chapel of the Novitiate House in Gniezno, Sr. Monika Graw made First Profession. Holy Mass was chaired by Bishop Bogdan Wojtuś.

The liturgy began at 12.00, at a time when the whole Church gathers at the Angelus's prayer and recall in prayer Mary’s Fiat: Let it be done to me according to Your Word. At the same hour, the participants of the first Profession ceremony heard also Fiat of Sr. Monika.

During the homily the Bishop reminded three biblical pictures illustrating the consecrated life: a well - as a place of meeting a man with God; fire - as a sign of trials and experiences, and maternal womb - indicating the fruitfulness of religious life.

First Profession of Sr. Monika, which took place on the day of Solemnity of Saints Peter and Paul, is a fulfillment of the desires of Saint Vincent Pallotti and an invitation to all become Apostles following the example of Christ - the Apostle of the Eternal Father.

 Final Profession

On Wednesday, 06 June 2018, the Pallottine Missionary Sisters in Tanzania joined together with Sr. Justina Hilary, SAC, Sr. Veronica Shauri, SAC and Sr. Lilian Moshi, SAC  as they pronounce their final vows in the Christ the King parish at Siuyu, Singinda. The Eucharistic Celebration was presided over by Rev. Bishop Mapunda, the Bishop of Singida together with 32 Priests from different parts of African countries including a good number of   Pallottine Fathers.

The Homily was preached by Fr. John Onna SAC, the Delegate Superior of the Pallottine Fathers. In his homily he invited the Sisters to reflect on the final commitment which demands dedication and responsibility in serving the Lord through our Charism. It is important to read the signs of the time and give to the world the best they can through their talents to draw many souls to God.  Our provincial Superior, Sr. Basilisa Jacob accepted the final vows.

The celebration was enriched by presents of parents, relatives and friends of the Sisters.  Among the visitors were the UAC members from Uganda and our second year Novices and formators from the International Novitiate in Arusha. The Maasai children from our new mission at Magogo surprised the crowd with their traditional dance which is well appreciated by all. At the end the Sisters who made their final profession expressed their gratitude to God and fellow members for accepting them as full members of the Pallottine Missionary Sisters. On July 16, also in the chapel of the Novitiate House in Gniezno, Sr. Joanna Jażdżewska made her final profession. The celebration was presided by Bishop Krzysztof Wętkowski. This event was a great faith experience for family members and those who were present at the celebration.

Sr. Joanna, entrusting her life to God, expressed her desire to imitate Christ and seek His presence in everyday life. The Final profession is a decision not to look back, but faithfully and zealously move forward, just as St. Vincnet Pallotti - towards infinity!

Jubilees

  • 25 Years of Profession in Poland

On 14th July three sisters celebrated their Silver Jubilee in Gniezno: Sr. Ewa Kobylińska, Sr. Krystyna Wasąg and Sr. Beata Matuszewska. The Jubilee Mass in the Chapel of Gniezno Convent was presided by Bishop Bogdan Wojtuś, who strengthened sisters with the Word of God on their further ministry rooted in St. Vincent Pallotti’s Charism. The Saturday Liturgy of Word very much harmonized with the thanksgiving to God and people for the years of experience in the consecrated life and for the further mission: Here I am Lord, send me wherever you want.

Sisters renewed their vows in the presence of the Provincial Superior, Sr. Iwona Nadziejko. Sisterly choir sang hymns special prepared for the occasion. After the Holy Mass, Jubilarians together with all guests and Sisters who came from the different communities were invited to a festive lunch. Before the jubilee Sisters made their retreat led by Fr. Tadeusz Miszewski SAC.

The Jubilarians thank the Superior General, Sr. Izabela Świerad, and each of the sisters from our Congregation for their prayers and wishes, as they surround them with a grateful heart and prayer.

On June 02, 2018 was a memorable and historical day for the Sisters in Belize, as they celebrated the Diamond jubilee of profession of Sr. Margaret Gongora S.A.C. The festivity event took place in Orange Walk town which is a birth place of Sr. Margaret.

The celebration was well organized by a team of people of the parish together with Sr. Consuelo Burgos, Provincial Superior and Sr. Adelberta Chuc. The solemn Eucharist was presided by Rev. Lawrence Nicasio, bishop of Belize and Belmopan, with two concelebrants.  The Liturgy began with beautiful procession of sixty boys and girls with lighted vigil candles from three town schools who had just received their First Holy Communion. The choir enriched the Eucharist with their melodious voices and instruments. Many Pallottine Sisters, family members, friends and parishioners joined Sr. Margaret to praise and thank God for her 60 years of faithful service to the Church and the Congregation as a dedicated religious Sister.
