After the XX General Chapter in 2016, the European Major Superiors of our Congregation gathered in Rome for their first Continental meeting. It was held in the Generalate from 15-20, November 2017, with the theme: Do not be afraid, Mary; you have found favour with God (Luke 1:30). Materials for our discussions were based on the new document from the Congregation for Institutes of Consecrated Life and Societies of Apostolic Life, New Wine in new Wineskins, 2017.
The participants were Sr. Helga Weidemann (Germany) Sr. Miroslawa Wlodarczyk (Poland) Sr. Ludwika Jastrzebska (Poland) Sr. Maria Dörig (Switzerland) Sr. Mary McNulty (England) Sr. Magdalena Pinto (Procura) and members of the General Council.
On the 3rd of November 2017, the Church of the Holy Spirit of the Neapolitans was filled with the faithful to welcome new rector Mgr. Maurizio Piscolla. The Holy Mass was presided over by the Vicar of the Pope for the diocese of Rome, S.E. Bishop Angelo De Donatis. Here in this Church St. Vincent Pallotti was the rector from December 1835 to 1846 and founded the Union to serve the Church hence it is a very significant place in the history of the Pallottine family.
Young English Fundraiser Lucy who is 16 years of age and the daughter of the CEO for England Jennifer Trotter, recently took to the skies to complete a hair-raising 10,000 feet Sky Dive to help raise funds in aid of projects for The Pallottine Sisters and her bravery was rewarded by donations of £1000.00 pounds.
With grateful hearts the Pallottine family and friends, coming also from Sardinia, gathered in San Salvatore in Onda in Rome on 16 September 2017, to celebrate the first anniversary of the Beatification of Elisabetta Sanna. The relic of Blessed Elisabetta was brought to the altar with the entrance procession.
Hope which will not let us down ( Romans 5,5).
J. Brodsky wrote: "From my lips thanksgiving never will disappear ". The witness of this beautiful truth is given by our Sisters, who celebrate their Jubilee of Consecration. They know that the time had passed quickly, but the gift of life and vocation, though marked with difficulties and sacrifice, is beautiful and precious. Profession, religious vows are a view to the world and to life from the right perpective, which is the eternity.

O Lord God, You are my trust and the source of my confidence… Ps 71
With deep sadness and shock we have learned of the today's sudden passing of our Cardinal Joachim Meisner, Archbishop of Köln, who died in age of 83.
Since 1980 he was a faithful guest and pilgrim in our house of the Procura General. We all remember him as a true man of God, zealous Pastor, who loved the Church, and worked with devotion for the good of the people. He was prayerful, joyful, and open hearted. Those who met him in this guest house, remember him as a person with the tender heart of the Father and witness to the Gospel.
